Nina's love affair with skincare began during her time in Croatia, where she was exposed to the pinnacle of skincare practices. She was captivated by the cutting-edge techniques employed in Europe's finest spas, sparking a lifelong passion. Determined to turn this passion into a career, Nina went to New York City to attend the prestigious Christine Valmey School of Aesthetics. Under the tutelage of industry luminaries, Nina quickly established herself as a sought-after Licensed Aesthetician. Her profound understanding of delivering unforgettable spa experiences set her apart. She honed her skills working in luxury spas and medical aesthetic centers, continually expanding her expertise through educational training events and global conferences focused on the latest and safest medical aesthetic procedures.

Realizing a dream

In 2002, Nina's dream took flight when she opened La Therapie Spa in Cary, North Carolina. This 5000-square-foot oasis quickly became one of the area's pioneering spas, offering a unique blend of spa luxury and cutting-edge medical aesthetics. La Therapie Spa set new standards by introducing services like CoolSculpting body contouring and anti-aging solutions, including cosmetic injectables and laser services. Over the years, the spa garnered numerous awards and featured prominently on local news programs for its state-of-the-art offerings.
